Time: 7:00pm – 11:00pm

Dress Code; Long Dresses/Short Dresses for the ladies – Jacket and Trousers for the men

6:00pm – Gentlemen Early Arrival

Gentlemen are invited to arrive from 6:00pm to settle into the evening and enjoy a relaxed drink before the main guest arrival begins.

Early arrivals will receive a Later Bloomer gold pin, which simply shows they were among the first guests to arrive and help create the welcoming atmosphere of the evening.

It also becomes a light-hearted conversation starter throughout the night — so if you notice someone wearing a gold pin, feel free to say hello.

7:00pm – Guest Arrival & Welcome

Guests will be welcomed at the entrance by Victoria, founder of The Later Bloomer Member Singles Club. You will be shown to the bar area where you can enjoy your welcome drink and begin to relax into the evening.

7:30pm – First Impressions Icebreaker

Once everyone has arrived, guests will receive a small card where they can write down a few first impressions of people they meet during the evening. These are anonymous and will be read later in the evening, often bringing smiles and laughter.

7:45pm – The “Chemistry Experiment.”      Icebreaker”

Guests are invited (completely optional) to bring a clean T-shirt they have worn recently, placed in a small sealed bag.

Each shirt will be given a number and placed on a table.

Guests who would like to take part can gently smell the shirts and simply note down the number they feel most drawn to.

Later in the evening, we reveal the owners of the shirts and guests who chose the same number will be invited to have a short 3-minute chat together.

It’s a light-hearted way to explore whether instinct and chemistry can sometimes lead us to interesting conversations.

8:15pm – Relaxed Mingling

Guests will have plenty of time to enjoy drinks, chat and get to know one another in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

8:45pm – Mini Speed Introductions

A short round of mini speed introductions will give everyone the chance to spend a few minutes chatting one-to-one with several guests. This helps ensure everyone has the opportunity to meet different people during the evening.

9:30pm – Social Time

The evening returns to relaxed mingling where guests can revisit conversations, enjoy drinks and continue getting to know one another.

Guests will also have connection cards where they can note the numbers of people they enjoyed meeting and would like to keep in touch with.

10:30pm – First Impressions Reveal

Victoria will read out the first impression cards written earlier in the evening, often creating a light-hearted and memorable moment for everyone.

11:00pm – Close of Evening

The evening will gently close at 11:00pm, hopefully after a wonderful night of conversation, laughter and new connections.
